Dear friends, colleagues and fellow sufferers -
First of all, I wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Peaceful 1999 with
cloudy weather coming only during the week of full moon. (To Mrs. Hazel
McGee: Better than blowing up the moon, can we move it to Venus?)
Secondly, I particularly want to thank all the southern hemisphere
observers for following the new Nova Muscae. Your visual observations are
especially valuable since mine, made with a CCD and a broadband V-system,
are very sensitive to Hydrogen-Alpha. The magnitude difference tells us
much about how the nova is evolving.
Here are my latest observations:
Nova Mus 9904.1771 10.07
9904.3393 10.12
9906.1912 10.26
Arigato gozaimasu ! And best wishes for clear skies! William
Liller
