The position of AE Cep as given in the GCSV is seriously in error.
My observation of this star near maximum on Dec. 17 shows it to be about 1.5'
to the NNE.
Checking the POSS-plates shows that there actually is a faint mag ~15 star near
the GCSV-position which I probably mistook for the variable on previous dates.
Therefore, please delete these observations from your file.
