[vsnet-obs 15317] New Variable (BeV3)

Thanks for the remarks on BeV2 to Chris Lloyd and Dr. Kato.

I would like to send you observations of a new variable star (GSC 5582 545), which I have discovered in a systematic CCD-based  search for new variables.

Instruments:

CCD-camera: Starlight SX
Telescope: Celestron-8

New variable star:

new BeV3   145117.06  S110943.4   11.65   11.85(ccd)   EA  2.2882 (?)


comments:

BeV3:   GSC 5582 545

While for classification of BeV2 more measurements are needed, BeV3 is most probably of type EA, because of significant brightness changes in few hours.
Comparison star is GSC 5582 574 (11.6 mag), which was prooved to be constant.

Elements, which are in agreement with all previous observations, can be calculated to:

JD(minI): 2451012.51 + 2.2882*E

The maximal change in brightness is likely bigger than 0.2 mag, because the deepest parts
 of the minima could not be observed yet.
