These observations were made on August 30 UT, not Aug 31. The first
observation refers to TT Boo, not T Boo. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Observers:
GRL = Bjorn H. Granslo (Fjellhamar, Norway). Instruments: 20.3-cm SCT
(C203), 7.0-cm refractor (L70), 10x50 binoculars (B10x50). AAVSO
sequences unless noted. Aug 6-7: Partly cloudy, Full Moon. Aug 7-8:
Partly cloudy, Moon. Aug 15-16: Favourable conditions. Aug 17-18:
Partly cloudy. Aug 19-20: Cloudy. Aug 21-22: Partly cloudy.
Aug 23-24: Cloudy (Blindern, Oslo). Sep 3-4: Nearly clear. All of
my observations from 1998 August have now been reported.
MOK = Oernulf Midtskogen (Tranby, Norway). Instrument: 31.6-cm f/4.9
reflector (M316). Observations are step estimates and magnitudes
are derived from private sequences.
