On the BAA chart, the close field star is marked at 14.9 and is south and 
slightly west of SV Sge.  Recent observations of mine have seen SV Sge 
brighter than this star, with both stars being visible on most
occasions.  I have discussed this with Gene Hanson, who also has seen both 
stars during his observations, and has recorded SV Sge brighter than the 
field star on his AAVSO chart.  My most recent observation definately had SV 
Sge fainter than the 149 star on the BAA chart.
