[vsnet-obs 1577] NAS.VSS observations of R CrB, SN 1995a1, HT Cas, T Leo

***** VARIABLE STAR OBSERVATIONS - REPORT OF 1995 NOVEMBER 21 *****
This report contains recent observations of a few interesting variables
(R CrB, SN 1995al, HT Cas, T Leo). Observations of Nova Cas 1995 are
reported separately.
1. R CORONAE BOREALIS
This carbon star underwent a major fade and is currently in a deep minimum
as indicated by the following visual magnitude estimates:

Z=13.53.
2. SUPERNOVA 1995al IN NGC 3021
This type Ia supernova was discovered by S. Pesci and S. Mazza on Nov 1,
1995. Visual observations have been made by members of our group:

Comparison stars (TA, GSC): C=12.0; D=13.0; E=13.5.
3. HT CASSIOPEIAE
On Nov 17.9 UT, 1995 a very rare outburst of this dwarf nova was discovered
by W. Worraker. Due to short duration we were make any positive, and only
the following negative observation is available. We were clouded out on
November 18/19.

3. T LEONIS
P. Schmeer reported an outburst of this dwarf nova on 1995 Nov 13, and
the following visual observations by undersigned confirm that T Leo was
bright on Nov 14 and Nov 16 UT.
