FX Cep [UGSS?, 15.0p - 17.5p]
=============================

Following the request on VSNET by Tonny Vanmunster, Landen, Belgium
for confirmation of his outburst detection of FX Cep, we have been
informed by Jochen Pietz, Erftstadts, Germany that he independently
also observed the outburst. The available observations are as follows :

1995 Sep 11.891 UT, 14.9: (J. Pietz, 0.40-m refl.);
     Sep 12.847 UT, 14.9  (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl., seq: GSC);

This CVAP object was last seen in outburst on 1995, July 30, by Tonny
Vanmunster, when it reached mag. 14.5 (CVC 49). We refer to CVC 51 for
some interesting historical data about this dwarf nova, and for a
discussion on its possible classification. Photometric summaries of
the July/August 1995 outburst appeared in CVC 51 and CVC 52.

IP Peg [UG, 12.0B - 16.6B]
==========================

Further to the announcement in CVC 56 on a reported small brightening
of IP Peg by B. Worraker, UK, we received following communication from
Taichi Kato, Ouda Station, Kyoto University, Japan : "S. Takahashi
(VSOLJ) has confirmed that observed times by Bill Worraker correspond
to the expected orbital humps (phase 0.7-0.9). Takahashi also reports
he observed IP Peg at mv=14.8 on Aug. 29.605, which also corresponds to
the expected phase of an orbital hump. Therefore, we should check the
orbital phases before interpreting 'bright estimates' of high-inclina-
tion dwarf novae."

A photometric summary of the current outburst is presented below. Eclipse
timings intentionally have been left out of the table.
