since May 2002 we are conducting a photographic nova survey
along the Milky Way. We read about the possible nova in Sgr
discovered by Nishimura-san. We checked our negatives, so
now we are able to send you our negative prediscovery

Mar. 11.12, 2003 fainter than 9.5
Apr. 6.11, 2003 fainter than 10.5
Apr. 8.11, 2003, fainter than 10.0
Instrumentation: 80mm, f/4 teleobjectve + unfiltered TMAX400
With kind regards,
Giovanni Sostero and Sara Garzia (Remanzacco Observatory,
Italy)
