Re: [vsnet-j 2259] V4742 Sgr Spectrum
以下のように送っておきました。
Mitsugu Fujii (Fujii Bisei Observatory) reports the following spectrum
taken with the FBSPEC-1 spectrograph attached to a 28-cm telescope.
http://vsnet1.harenet.ne.jp/~aikow/v4742_sgr_20020917.gif
Fujii reports that both Halpha (FWHM=1700km/s) and Hbeta are strongly
in emission. The Fe II series emission lines are also clearly visible,
indicating that V4742 Sgr is an Fe II-class nova (Williams 1992,
AJ 104, 725). The relatively large Balmer decrement (Halpha/Hbeta = 5.7)
is consistent with the considerable reddening inferred from photometry.
