QW Ser outburst
もと TmzV46 だった UGSU 型のアウトバーストです。時期からは normal, super
の区別を付け難いですが、明け方の空のよいターゲットになるでしょう。

Subject: [vsnet-alert 5603] QW Ser in outburst
Visual magnitude estimate by P. Schmeer, Bischmisheim, Germany:
QW SERPENTIS (UGSU)
Jan. 25.229 UT, 13.2
Sequence: Henden (V magnitudes)
Instrument: 203-mm SCT
The most recently observed outburst (a supermaximum) of this
SU UMa-type dwarf nova (formerly known as TmzV46) was detected
by me on 2000 July 5.941 UT at mv= 12.4 (cf. vsnet-alert 5068).
Prior to that one I had found three other outbursts:
1999 Oct. 4 (supermaximum), 2000 Jan. 4 (normal), May 1 (normal)
The mean cycle length of QW Ser appears to be 30 days.
Regards,
Patrick
