Taichi, vsnet-for scarmato and lindberg? Have you lost your mind? It took me a while to catch what was going on because I put a filter in my email long ago to delete anything with Toni Scarmato in the sender line. Now like a blast from hell I have a dozen emails to wade through ALL ABOUT TONI SCARMATO!! I don't have time for this. Creating a list for him and then subscribing us all to it defeats the whole purpose of filtering this junk out. I am very disappointed in this course of action. Now _more_ lists have been proliferated for anyone disagreeing with Kato or commenting on the new policy of flaming people on vsnet, and we are all subjected this too? ***Please do not _ever_ subscribe me to any list I have not specifically requested.*** I'm not sure what has precipitated this recent negative attitude, but I don't like the feel of it at all. Whether you realize it or not, recent emails to Henden, Linnolt, Lindberg, Otero and others have been terse to say the least, and border on rudeness. I think I understand your frustration and intent, but the delivery has been less than desirable. I hope to have a long and fruitful association with VSNET, but let's cut through the bullshit and get back to the science (and more importantly to me - the fun) of variable star observing. I do not expect to see any more email in my box about Toni Scarmato or you pissing on people who disagree with you, or you may unsubscribe me from all vsnet lists until you pull your head out of your ass.
