Well, that's interesting, seeing as I used the IAUCs to create the 2003 objects, usually back researching after a month, when the notices and updates finally settled down. My list is a live thing, coz novae keep happening. List compilers have to decide on some publication or other as official reference datum. I'm afraid it's there now, in the archival literature, via an ADS search too nod doubt, no matter what the truth of the matter is. Hence my use of the word "apocryphal" re IAUCs.
