This is being worked on, i.e. making searches by name in catalogues
without coordinates or an entry in SIMBAD. You can, of course, do searches
by name in specific catalogues one at a time by selecting the catalogue
and filling in the name in the appropriate column of the query page.

You have a "pretty good" position, so you can cut the search radius
down to 30 arcsec or less, right? Otherwise in such regions you'll
get a huge report, which may be problematic for the system.

I've seen this occasionally recently. It seems to go away after
awhile, notably following the Monday morning (local time) computer reboot,
which happens at about 5h UT on the relevant Mondays (i.e. coming up in
about 7 hours). I don't know what the problem is, but I think it is
unrelated to doing seaches in crowded fields, but a computer network
or other glitch with the system.
