Hello,
the 5-days-average of the VSNET observations of R CrB jumped from 6.0 in
June to 6.2 in July AFTER the mails about a possible faiding of this star.
My question is, if this fading is real or a result of the mailings: Are lots
of observers sending slightly darker observations because of the thinking,
there should be some fading, or because of real fading?
Is there anybody who could verify the fading by non-visual observations?
