(fwd) re NSV 16694 V-Ic corrigendum The following message is from John Greaves: Can't add up. V-Ic for NSV 16694 is +1.0 unreddened, not +0.1, and not too blue for the B-V, but in red excess, probably due to the associated nebulosity. Similarly, I think I'm a bit befuddled about Ic being in excess if the objects are sometimes appearing too blue. Can't be right. I know I got the values right for the two mentioned (I've others results to check against for MisV1147), so I'll have to go back to what was my original thought, and that the Herbig Ae/Be stars are burning a bit bluer than their main sequence analogues for any particular spectrum, in tandem with also burning a bit brighter than them. The inverseness of the magnitude scale gets me muddled sometimes. Sorry. Cheers John
