The person to talk to is Kent Honeycutt. His Roboscope has been running for about two decades now, looking at several hundred dwarf novae with a decent CCD system. He has some great long-term plots. Some of his results have been published; there are things like stunted outbursts that occur, and I can easily believe that very fast outbursts or precursor outbursts are equally likely. Arne Gary Poyner wrote: > I stand by Mike's observations of these outbursts.
