Stan and Brian, Yes, this star is included as comparison star in my eta Car chart. I can add that the Observing Group of La Plata Observatory is making CCD BVRI photometry using HD 303308 (V= 8.16, B= 8.30, R= 7.91, I= 7.76) as the comparison star. It is 3 magnitudes fainter but it is quite close. Regards, Sebastian.
