The various colors, large parallax, large proper motion, and Houk's
spectral type all point to an active dwarf near G8/K0. Note also the
x-ray detection, again suggesting chromospheric activity. It could be
that there are eclipses as well as low-amplitude modulation due to
rotation of starspots. If rotation, then the 10.9-day period is probably
too long---I'd expect something like 1-5 days for an active (young) star.
