[vsnet-chat 6344] V445 Pup was brighther than catalogued. First observed by ASAS-3



I noticed that ASAS-3 wa the first one to catch V445 Pup's outburst:

We only started observing it by December 30, but it had been there bright 40
days before discovery.
Its actual maximum took place by November 30, 2000 at V= 8.46.

The strong oscilations reported are present in ASAS-3 data too!
So we made it well visually! ;-))
