The ZAND star BI Cru is undergoing its second deep decline in six months. It was previously near magnitude 13 during 2002 September and has again declined to from magnitude 11 to 13 between 2003 February and April, an interval of approximately 180 days since the previous minimum. Listed here are recent visual observations from Heathcote of the current decline that suggest it may have already passed minimum.
