Dear all.

Two years ago I have used this program, but unless an help
is not easy to use it.
No problem with the configuration of my computer I Have 256 MB of RAM and a
Pentium III 500 MHZ.
Also, I can convert the images in fits format.

..... Toni, you may wish to learn the astronomical concept of "equinox",
i.e.
the earth has a changing rotation pole projected on the sky...........
Yes, I know the problem of the equinox and epoch.
Megastar Program version 4.0 is based on equinox 2000.0 and I think also
epoch 2000.0.
I use this program to found comets positions.
Again, General Catalogue of Variable Stars 4th edition
(Kholopov et al. 1985-88)
GSC 1.1 version.
and
Astronomical Data Center
I/239 The Hipparcos and Tycho Catalogues (ESA 1997)
The program compute the proper motion of the stars.
This mean that the program seem to be realiable.

.........Given that FH Hya is a BD star, it is odd that no accurate position
is given. Indeed, even SIMBAD has only the IRAS position. It is readily
identifiable as:
FH Hya = BD-06 2942 = GSC 4900-0329: 9 34 01.77 -06 59 18.6 (2000,
Tycho-2).......
that is just the position reported from Megastar program for GSC 4900:329
(09 34 1.78 -06 59 18.0)
but, as say Taichi is a little different from HYAFH (09 34 0.9 -06 59 04).
Finally,

uncertain identifications is to report them (with full circumstances)
to vsnet-chat, and wait Brian Skiff's confirmation before actually
submitting the data to vsnet-obs. This sounds very quick! B-)........
It seems a good idea.
P.S. Sorry Nikolai Samus, I not Have read your message, but now is all
clear.
