[vsnet-chat 4977] Identifications for an LMC variable

While preparing a PEP(V) chart for S Doradus and the surrounding area, I
stumbled upon a couple of variable stars that seems to be identified with
two LMC variables.


It's:

LMC V1864  - SR - 129 d. - 12.4 (0.5) I    =  05h 16m 41.69s  -68º 37' 39.3"
(2000.0) [From the Catalogue of Extragalactic Variables included in the
GCVS]

Which seems to be in the same position as HDE 269279 = GSC 9162 00840 =  05h
16m 41.77s  -68º 37' 34.8" (2000.0) [Position from Tycho 2]
This one seems to be variable according to a couple of  measurements ( V=
10.235, B-V= 0.235 and V= 10.30, B-V= 0.22) included in the GCPD
(http://obswww.unige.ch/gcpd/indexform.html).  Tycho 2 gives V= 10.42)

The problem is that the spectral type (SIMBAD) for this star is F0 and with
a B-V of 0.2 is obviously not an SR star as stated in the first catalogue.
Is it the same star?
