Arne mentioned this site a couple of days ago.

As he said, currently the data is difficult to access, although they do
apparently intend to set up a position input request interface at some point.

They already have a positional request interface for files from the image
archive, and I decided to just have a look and see what the field looked
like with respect to progenitor object(s)

However, when it eventually came to the download stage, the ftp connection
didn't complete and the thing timed out.

Has anyone been able to download any images from this site?

And yes, I do have javascript enabled.


Incidentally, I'd also be interested in an url that enables the 21000 LMC
periodic variable catalogue to be downloaded as a flat ascii file, should
one exist.
