[vsnet-chat 4735] MisV1140

Dear colleagues,

MisV1140 was announced in [vsnet-newvar 1026]:

MisV1140
  R.A. 22h39m58s.95
  Decl. +47o20'16".4 (2000.0)
  Mag. 13.0-15.2C
  Type S?
= GSC 3624-01696 22h39m58s.91 +47o20'16".2 Error:0.4" Mag:13.04 MagError:0.38 Band:1 Class:3 Plate:00VR Flag:F Epoch:04 SEP 1983
= USNO-A2.0 1350.17102713 22h39m59s.066 +47o20'17".60 Mag(R):12.5 Mag(B):13.3

Despite of the large magnitude range observed in the MISAO Project, it
is detected and recorded in the GSC 1.1 and USNO-A2.0 at around the
peak magnitude.

  GSC 1.1	13.04 mag
  USNO-A2.0(R)	12.5 mag
  USNO-A2.0(B)	13.3 mag

It was faint at only one night. So it may be an eclipsing variable
star.

Yamaoka-san pointed out that this star may be GH Lac. The position of
GH Lac in GCVS 4.1 is erroneous and revised in IBVS 4906 by
Dr. Kinnunen and Dr. Skiff, Yamaoka-san says.

In IBVS 4906, it is remarked as "GCVS 4.1 position 3'.2 in error."
But it is not certain whether the variability is confirmed or not. And
I do not know how they conclude the star is GH Lac.

MisV1140 is 7 arcmin from the GH Lac position in the GCVS 4.1. Is it
possible that MisV1140 is a real GH Lac?

Best regards,
