Hi John, Emile & chat people,
HR Lyr varies between 15.2 & 15.8 visually (usually to be
found around 15.5-8). In the book 'Variable Stars' by
Hoffmeister, Richter & Wenzel, HR Lyr is listed as a nova
which may undergo a further outburst. I also seem to remember
Rob McNaught mentioning to me quite a few years ago now that
HR Lyr would be a good object to add to the Recurrent Objects
Programme - so I did. Recommendation from Rob is good enough
for me!
