It doesn't appear in any official lists, and doesn't seem to be included in

It is an M5 III giant according to one source, though the HD catalogue has
M2 as the class

There's relatively little proper motion despite it being apparently
moderately close, according to Tycho 1 data, so it being a giant seems
reasonable.

It's an IRAS and MSX5C infrared source, and the 2MASS J magnitude is about
5, which is a lot brighter than the visual magnitude.

Whether or not it is variable is kinda connected to the inversed old
question of whether or not there are any invariable red giants ;)
