I appreciated your previous note, as I find your comments 
very useful to improve my knowledge of these topics. I used 
only 8 reference stars as I selected them manually (no 
automatic astrometry!), looking for single, bright -but not 
saturated- stars.

I'll let you know when I'll measure with this other 
catalogue. By the way: is there any place where I can order 
a CD with this UCAC? Also,k where I can learn more on this 
cat on the web?
