Cartes du Ciel work without problem with
Windows NT4.
The error message you get is because the install
file cdcbase.exe as been corrupted during the download. Unfortunately the
only solution is to download it again. You may have to use a specialized
download software which is much more reliable than the browser to download
large files. I have link to two such free software at the top of my download
page.
