Thank you for your note -- well, there are frequently discordances
between the proposed acronyms, and their usage in the literature...
Anyway, it seems that "HBH" for "Hamburg-Bergedorf H-alpha" should be
quoted in the Dictionary of Nomenclature. HBH is however not a synonym for
KW97, the latter being the "running number" in the Kohoutek+Wehmeyer
(III/205) catalog, a number made from the page number and a number
starting from 1 on each page of the catalogue (in bytes 1-5); the "HBH"
number is derived from the Halpha survey, and is contained in bytes 77-85
of the (III/205) catalog.
