   The present newvar.cat doesn't necessarily contain only variable stars.
Some cataloged objects which may be future identified with (new) variable
stars are also included.  HBH objects are emission line stars, as compiled
by ... (I forget the reference).

   Please try the Strasbourg dictionary of catalogs.  We in principle use
their acronyms.
