Dear all,
I want know your comment on this image that
show the object sa00x04 (approximate astrometric position A.R 17 36
32.22 decl. -23 47 47.5), near the star GSC 6827:770 A.R. 17 36 27.13 decl. -23 47 56.7. m1~11.4/0.4.
I have comparison my image, taken with a tele 500
mm f/10 on 35 mm film 800 ISO, exposure 10 mm, with the DSS image of the
field.
I Have valued the magnitude of the object (sa00x04)
m1~12.0, and seem that in the DSS image there is not a star with the same
magnitude.
If the object is not an asteroid (?) what it is? A
variable star?
Regards,
Toni Scarmato
