It's funny to note that both deltas have the same amplitude but in reverse: while delta Sco rises to 1.9 from 2.3, delta Vel falls from 1.95 to 2.3. > > Anyway, I've just returned from an early morning walk. It's still difficult to be accurate with delta Sco because of the lack of good comparison stars and its low altitude. We'll have to be happy with our 1.9 -2.1 observations until the star gets higher.
