Bish,
This particular virus only bites Outlook / Outlook Express a product
line I don't recommend to my customers because of these kinds of
exploitable holes. Nevertheless all of the major virus scanners will find
this one if it's in your PC.
Meanwhile you can safely open and read Stan's message using Eudora 3 or
4, the mailer in StarOffice, every email program I know of for DOS and
Linux systems, and older versions of Netscape Communicator. In short, use
anything that isn't Outlook or trying to emulate its functionality.

But to answer Stan's question, I think that Mira is now on its way
down....
