observed a blackhole at zenith?
Hi readers,
I did it last night, observing V4641 Sgr.
I was able to execute a full 360 degrees azimuthal swing while keeping the
object at the centre of the image. The star was too close to the moon
(about 10 degrees) and relatively too faint to do a proper PA effect
test...
Actually the Decl of V4641 Sgr is -25 24 and my local lattitude -25 45. The
average garden slope here is more than a degree so I must have achieved a
reasonably good horizontal position for the telescope, not perfect
though...
And what did you see at/around zenith?
Regards,
Berto
