Dear Dr. Kato:
I've noticed that V996 Cen is being avoided in the compiled lists of pulsating
red stars and in vsnet-mira and vsnet-recent. I also found the star missing in
some GCVS updates (I've got plenty of new Name Lists that I can't recall now).
But V996 Cen is in fact classified as an Lb star and my observations show a very
interesting behaviour.
What's the current V996 Cen status. Maybe some mistake is causing this star to
be absent from the mails.
Best regards,
Sebasti疣 Otero.
