Taking the NSV object to be the same object as the central star for the
planetary nebula, which is also known as Abell 36, here are some details
for said central star:
U 9.98, B 11.28, V 11.53 [thus B-V -0.25] errors on photometry <0.1
Spect. O(H)
There is also a note to say that this object may be a spectroscopic
binary of several days period.
We should also note that there is a "psychophysiological" effect when it
comes to observing the brightness of stellar objects superposed against
faint extended background objects which can make them appear to vary
subtly, when in fact they are not, at least visually.
