Dear Brian:
Do you have photoelectric measurements of TYC 8659-00702-1?
It happens that there are any kind of V magnitudes going round.
The star has a 9.52 V mag. in the GSC, 10.55V in TYCHO 1 and 10.45V in
TYCHO 2. Originally I used it as a comparison for our fiend EsB 365, but when I
noticed these discrepancies I started to observe it more carefully. Using a
Tycho 2 sequence, the star looks constant at 9.7.
I't s a yellow star, not likely to be a variable, but it's strange that the
GSC value seems better than TYCHO 2.
Whatever information you have, please post it. The same for the rest of
you, VSNET folks.
Thanks a lot,
Sebasti疣 Otero.
