I'm at the telescope (already), so can't look readily at the Hoeg et al.
main Tycho-2 paper. This has the figure (Fig. 11?) where they basically
admit the quoted errors are too small among the fainter stars, but I don't
recall why this has happened, although I know it is discussed in the text.
