Brian,
The bright variables I mentioned that Greg
found but which should be Hipparcos/Tycho are
mentioned in Section 5 (Summary) page 13 of
his paper, where he states "Among the periodic stars
there are many examples of bright (7-9 magnitude)
Algol and WUMa binaries -- easy targets for small
size spectroscopic instruments." These should
be well sampled with Tycho, which is why I wondered
about identification. I'm just nit-picking, as
Pojmanski has done a wonderful job.
