   Yes, I have that catalog, and many of recent references can be also
searched via the ADS service.  I had read (before the present outburst)
all references after 1987 in the list.  No reference gives direct information
how this object was first recognized as a nova.  I believe PZ 3,99 is the
key reference to this question, but I have no access to it.
