Dear SN watchers,
T. Puckett has discovered 6 supernovae (including discoveries as
colleagues and an independent discovery) in one month ! I guess he is
doing very intensive search.
Discovery mag type v_r
2000G Feb. 05.04 17.2 II 3614
2000I Feb. 04.17 16.8 ? 6663
2000J Feb. 04.37 18.5 ? 14368
2000K Feb. 28.36 18.1? Ia 16000?
2000L Feb. 29.13 17.8 II 3315
2000O Mar. 05.26 17.1 ? 7042
It is a bad lack that the nearer ones are type II (dim). For SN
2000O, it seems to be among a bright one, and also seems SN 2000I.
Sincerely Yours,
Hitoshi Yamaoka, Kyushu Univ., Japan
