[vsnet-chat 2677] Vogt sequence for OY Car

     There is BV photometry for several stars in the OY Car field by Vogt,
published in volume 8 of the "Publications of the Variable Star Section" of
the RASNZ (1980).  Presumably these are what is on the RASNZ charts for
OY Carinae.  I show the star positions and data below.  In the penultimate
column are Tycho-2 V magnitudes corrected to the standard system; in both cases
the Tycho-2 photometry matches Vogt's well within the Tycho errors.  The final
column shows GSC magnitudes, rounded to 0.1 precision and averaged from 
overlapping plates.  The plates involved are blue-sensitive IIIa-J plates,
so the magnitudes are roughly B magnitudes, and thus fainter than V apart from
the one blue star, and obviously unsuitable for visual use.
