Andrew,

Just a short note to let you know that I have made a handful (15) of
observations of NSV4223 confined to the evening apparitions since March
1998. Over that time, I have seen it range from 10.1 (= to star 'e'on
charts 1121/22) to <14 (my limit on a good night) and back again. While my
data is very incomplete (3 maxima including the current one), the curve
looks generally fairly smooth in decent and recovery suggesting rather Mira
like behaviour with a period somewhere around 300 days. All my observations
have been submitted to the RASNZ but I am not sure if this is actually a
program object (my copy of VSSOBS didn't include it in its database).

I am sure other observers would have more complete data sets ....
