Thanks to Kato-san for posting the phased eclipse data
for this star.  I presume the units on the y-axis are
a scaled 'magnitude'.  And, double thanks, for putting
error bars on the points.
  Another technique that I have not seen, is to stack
images at equal phase and then extract.  I bet you will
get better S/N than is shown in your plot.
