Stan Walker asked:
>I don't know much about GM Sgr - does anyone have a period or anything?
Goranskij in IBVS 3464 reports a binary period of
2447707.454 + 0.7365483*E(days)
with a range of about one magnitude. I know of no further
improvement or even confirmation of the period (though Kato-san certainly
has been observing this system and should have the answer!).
This field is too far south for me to get photometry for
more than a couple of hours (since it transits at twilight);
it should be ideal for Stan. I have too many competing projects
in the galactic center direction anyway, and these crowded fields are
a real pain to process.
