Re: [vsnet-chat 2064] vsnet-recent
Sorry for the moment, this was due to the recent modification to the
vsnet-recent system. Considering the usually-met problem that "more observed
stars tend to receive more attention", we have started paying slightly more
attention to recently neglected CVs. The very start of this application
has revealed a considerable amount of such stars ;-). We expect the
outgoing vsnet-recent messages will soon become balanced with observations
(approx. relaxation time will be less than 5 days). Thanks to all observers,
the number of messages (today) on these neglected CVs will be only six.
We hope the new feature of vsnet-recent would be of any help for making
strategies on "globally unobserved CVs". A similar system would be desirable
for long-period variables, but is still to complicated to apply in the same
manner.
Best regards,
Taichi Kato
