Based on the AAVSO alerts, it looks like Watanabe-san's prediction of an outburst for this star was right on target! My CCD photometry from the (very) marginal night of 990310 gives it a magnitude/color of HJD V B-V verr bverr 51247.8242 11.541 -0.111 0.03 0.02 which is down from its peak of about 10.5, but still bright. Patrick Schmeer asked me to get photometry of some brighter comparison stars than given in my Paper II table. I've posted on our anon ftp site a file of these brighter comparison stars. Since the night was pretty poor, I'd give these stars +/- 0.03mag errors until I can get a second measure of the field. http://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/sequence/bzuma.dat Arne -------------------------------------------------------------------- Arne Henden Instruments/software/CCDs US Naval Observatory Flagstaff Station Cepheids/photometry/IR P.O.
