Dear colleagues,
We do accumulate all information on new variables, including that
sent electonically. But please don't expect that, provided announced
electronically, your new variable will be GCVS-named within a couple of
days. We have specific rules for naming variables, Name-lists appear
not very often, and it is not a rare case that discoverers find mistakes
in their first announcements, so waiting for several months, even in
apparently clear cases, is a sort of policy from our side.
