   I have found it interesting to note the Henry Draper Catalog gives
mv=7.43 (and mpg=7.77) rather than this.  I had thought they are Harvard
magnitudes (as I had seen in other fields) until I noticed this discrepancy.
For the other 7-th magnitude star near R CrB, the HD Catalog gives a magnitude
of 7.90, pretty consistent with the 'old' chart magnitudes.
