Dear Dr. Kato,
After a query from Gary Poyner, I note the x/y numerical values in the chart
files have been extended so that they now create an error in my Basic plot
programme placed some weeks ago on the BAAVSS home pages.
<http://vsnet.telf-ast.demon.co.uk>

The change seems to have happened on May 4th affecting the following files;
Subject: [vsnet-chart 29] Revised chart of SN1998bn
Subject: [vsnet-chart 31] chart of SN1998bv
Subject: [vsnet-chart 32] Chart of SN1998cc
Subject: [vsnet-chart 33] chart of GRB 980519
Subject: [vsnet-chart 35] Chart of NGC4013VAR (SN1989Z?)

Two files on/after that date do not have extended values and plot OK;
Subject: [vsnet-chart 27] Chart of 3C279 (repost)
Subject: [vsnet-chart 30] chart of GRB 980425? or SN1998??

The program needs to be re-written to deal with the above problem but I am
puzzled that the new SCALE heading is not included in every file. Negative
x/y values are not always used, either.
Is there a description or FAQ of the chart files anywhere on VSNet?
Best Regards,
Dave
